Took a boat tour with Bob. Had a great time! Saw humpback and Minke whales as well as over a dozen bald eagles. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I lived in Argentia, Newfoundland 50 years ago and saw a couple of whales chasing the caplin to the shore via binoculars. I never saw them like I saw them today. We were able to see multiple whales today along with a congregation of eagles. Skipper Bob was very knowledgeable about the local area and where whales might be. He is quite experienced in getting close enough for us to appreciate their majestic size and grace and far enough to ensure safety for all in the boat. I was able to capture some great photos of blows and fins. I heeded Skipper Bob's advice by bringing a plastic bag to cover my DSLR camera until we found the whales. The bag protected my camera from being sprayed with salt water, as there are a few times we got to feel some salt water. :-). I highly recommend the Trinity Eco Zodiac tour...well worth the money for a great memorable experience. Thanks Bob!

Stopped in sometime in the afternoon for a bite to eat. A little hard to recognize as a restaraunt as the only signage out front talked about the eco tours. Was clean and nicely laid out. Looks like there is space for live music entertainment. Menu was reasonably priced and food was quickly served. We had the moose burger and seafood chowder. Burger was juicy and chowder was hearty. Both were flavourful.

Great place to stay, homecooked breakfast and a nice central location.
